Advanced Functional and Integrative Telemedicine With a Unique Approach to Longevity
Web design and development
Avesta Integrative Medicine, LLC
The revolution to redefine heath care
Avesta Medicine views the entire body as one integrated and connected system. It believes that when one part of the system is unbalanced or iII, it creates an imbalance or illness in the rest of the system. functional medicine attempts to identify and address the root causes of imbalance which leads to disease.
Put the user first
Start with questions what motivates people to use Avesta Medicine's services and offerings.
Design to interact
In the end, designing is about communicating.
Iterate, iterate, iterate
Redefine design ideas, prototype and evaluate multiple solutions.
I tried a cognitive walkthrough with the Avesta team for each page and walk through each step that users must take. I checked whether the flow of information tells a story that users will understand.
The two questions
Our focus was to gather a list of problems that stop users from completing their tasks by asking two questions: Will users know what to do? Will they know they did it?
Although Avesta Medicine is considered a relatively new practice, it uses functional and integrative medicine practices delivered via telemedicine technologies. Avesta Medicine's audience is fairly familiar with each one so my focus in redesigning the website and services was connecting the field's brand equity and Avesta Medicine practice. What really matters is the audience.
In the age of attention economy, we have to be clear on what we want the audience to remember about Avesta Medicine, its offerings, and unique approach to health care.
Flow of information
My focus was on organizing, structuring, and labeling content effectively and sustainably.
